In recent years, domestic basil has become regarded as superior to the imported French variety. This is in part due to the drying process used in California – thanks to their technique, the fresh, sweet basil flavor and the vivid green color is maintained beautifully. Stored properly in a dark, dry area, these large leafy flakes will maintain their strong flavor and freshness for months. Ingedients: Sweet basil.

I have been looking for a supplier of spices and these folks are by far the best! Came fast and was fresh. what more could you ask for?
I was pleasantly surprised at the freshness and color of the leaves. I normally just buy cheap herbs at the grocery store but no longer!
Basil is probably my most used and favorite spice. Whenever winter comes and all my basil is frozen I look to basil in the jar. Pasta sauce has to have basil. The jar basil does add flavor though not as well as fresh basil. But what’s a girl to do?
