Spice House owners Patty and Tom Erd had been married for many years before Patty tried something new by throwing a few bay leaves in with her roast pork chops. She received the supreme compliment from her husband: "What did you do? These are as good as my Mom's!" Remember: When ordering bulk bay leaves, as well as herbs, these are very lightweight. One-half ounce of these bay leaves is approximately 1 cup in volume.
