This is my grandma's chili recipe. It's not hot, but very tasty. I've even served it to people who said they didn't like chili, but they all liked this dish.

Yield: 5 to 6 Servings
To reduce the fat, drain the meat after browning. This is a simple chili recipe to add to or change. I continually add new things, i.e. a small can of diced green chilis, or change the type of beans, or even sometimes add a teaspoon of ground cumin (again from The Spice House, because I love the rich deep flavor it adds). I often saw grandma throw in a half stalk of diced celery. It wasn't part of her original recipe, but I do it as well. You can turn up the heat by changing the chili powder to hotter chili powder, or add more crushed red pepper, or even cayenne pepper.

I switched to spocy chili powder and did everything else the same…Maaaan, Your grandma knew her stuff…I had to make more. With Rice? This is dinner every Thursday. Thank you!!!
This was the first time I made chili for my family because my children are the picky eaters! I have to say this chili was awesome! I did use a little more chili powder and I omitted the red chili flakes because our pallets are a little whimpier! But FANTASTIC recipe! Thank you!
My hats off to your Grandma!! Her chili is great. I added a little twist though. I used more of the red pepper and added more chili powder. I also added 1/2 Tbls salt to make up for the condensed tomato soup. It is a great recipe and I will be using it again!! Thanks for sharing.
