Dad's Famous Chili
Chili powder is easily confused with ground chile peppers. When a recipe calls for chile pepper, it means pure ground chiles. Chili powder, on the other hand, is a blend of ground chiles and other ingredients. This is the chili powder called for in recipes such as chili con carne, baked beans, Spanish rice, steak tacos, and enchilada sauce. This chili powder also makes a great rub for barbecue or grilled meats and veggies. Ingredients: Chiles, cumin, garlic, oregano, silicon dioxide.
Love it, just the right kick to my chili.
This has a great taste without being to spicy for me
Much better than supermarket chili powder. That's why I buy from Spice House. It's all better.
Very good in soups and chili and some stews. I prefer this to the grinding my own dried peppers. Tastes great and is convenient too.
I mix this with a little con carne style and a dash of medium hot for chili that gets raves.
I love this chili powder. Mild yet full of flavor. So delicious. A+
