Mild Chili Powder
Details
Chili powder is easily confused with ground chile peppers. When a recipe calls for chile pepper, it means pure ground chiles. Chili powder, on the other hand, is a blend of ground chiles and other ingredients. This is the chili powder called for in recipes such as chili con carne, baked beans, Spanish rice, steak tacos, and enchilada sauce. This chili powder also makes a great rub for barbecue or grilled meats and veggies. Ingredients: Chiles, cumin, garlic, oregano, silicon dioxide.

The best chili powder without heat
We love this blend and it is now our house chili blend, and so family members don't like a lot of heat. Very flavorful, just enough heat. We always want this blend on hand.
I bought this as a gift for a young woman who is a friend of our son’s. She loved the spices - I think I sent about 7 spices so that I would get free shipping. I bought them to go with a wok we bought her for her birthday.
A mere tablespoon of this mild chili powder provided just the right amount of heat to a pot of chili for two. Combined with a tablespoon of Mexican Oregano is all the seasonings it needs.
