Fantastic paprika. Brightens anything. Heck I'd put it in my makeup if my husband wouldn't judge me for it. So fine and so fire... Hey maybe he wouldn't judge me!
Our Spanish Smoked Sweet Paprika is also known as Pimenton de la Vera Dulce. It’s a popular ingredient in many Mediterranean recipes, and essential for authentic Spanish cooking. The peppers are dried slowly over an oak burning fire for several weeks for a sweet, rich, smoky flavor. This smoked paprika is excellent on grilled veggies, seafood, crispy potatoes, spinach and chickpea stew or bean dishes. For a fun summer treat, mix smoked paprika, salt, and a little vanilla into butter and spread on corn on the cob before grilling. Ingredients: Paprika.

I'm a Spanish native who used to buy Pimentón de la Vera during my yearly trips to Spain. Because of COVID-19 I couldn't go in 2020, so I bought it at The Spice House. From other spice purchases there I know they strive for quality. This was no exception. Vibrant and deliciously smoky
I thought Paprika was Paprika. I've purchased smoked Paprika and bulk standard Paprika, couldn't tell too much difference. But this stuff is so much brighter visibly as well as aromatically, and the flavor is so much better. Buy the flat pack, free shipping and the value is better than buying at a grocery store.
I'm so embarrassed for having shrugged off paprika all these years. A friend recently gave me a recipe for grilled cauliflower using smoked paprika and I decided to go all in for new paprika instead of what I always use from our main grocery chain. We used the smoked sweet and oh my goodness, what great flavor! Really terrific. I have been singing its praises since we purchased it. Definitely recommend.
Having only had paprika from the store, I was amazed at how this delivered a robust flavor to our chickpea pasta dish. I will be making it again.
