Since you can see the vanilla bean seeds, this paste adds a gourmet appearance in addition to delicious flavor. Add this paste to homemade ice creams, custards, creme brulee, cakes and icings. Each four-ounce jar contains 8 tablespoons of paste. 1 tablespoon paste = 1 tablespoon vanilla extract = approximately 1 vanilla bean. Our pastry chef customers give this product a big thumbs up! Best Resource for Spices

I have been buying my spices from the Spice House for almost 16 years; first from the store when I visited Chicago (even taking a taxi to get to the store!) and then by mail order. I have never been disappointed in the quality and freshness of any of the products. Shipping is fast and reliable. I do a lot of ethnic cooking and this is my "go to" for the more unusual spices. I started a "spice cabinet" for one of my daughters with all of the most used spices about 35 in all. I have also purchased the gift boxes for friends and get nothing but "rave" reviews.
