It’s used to add a wonderful delicate and piney flavor to roasted meats, in tomato and vegetable dishes, and in Polish and German sausage recipes. This marjoram is quite aromatic and provided a delicious flavor to several dishes I prepared. In particular, I use a mix of marjoram (also called sweet oregano) with oregano in tomato sauce. The marjoram presents a nice balance to the more bitter oregano, and the Spice House marjoram has superior flavor to strike such balance.
So much fresher than the jars or cans of marjoram at the grocery store. They can’t seem to stock it so I’m extra thankful to have found The Spice House.
