Delicious in Soup!

I was so excited about this as I love porcini mushrooms but often cannot get them without paying an arm and a leg. This lends the wonderful porcini flavor and Umami quality to soups (and other things). I often use fish sauce to achieve umami but this has a smoother flavor and is more suitable for certain things I feel. Delicious!

Porcini Mushroom Powder

I love the flavor boost this mushroom powder gives everything! I like to add it to sauteed mushrooms that I put in so many things, from pan sauces and meat gravies to stews and soups. Scrambled eggs too. And if I find that any mushrooms in my refrig are too far gone to use, I know I've always got this powder in the cabinet!
