Hoummous al Za’atar Chickpea Salad
With its potent, unique flavor, Whole Cumin is a crucial ingredient in many kinds of global cuisine. It’s essential in Indian curries, and is commonly roasted before being ground to give it a lovely nutty, toasted taste. The somewhat bitter, earthy flavor is crucial to good chili. Nearly all Mexican bean and meat recipes call for generous amounts of cumin (called "comino" in Mexican recipes), as do foods of various other Latin American countries. Several European countries use it to flavor their breads. Ingredients: Cumin seeds.

Wow can't believe it's taken me so long to sing the praises of the cumin seed. It's used in so many cultures and buying it in the seed form allows me to grind just what I need so the taste is more prominent in the final dish. From Chicken Enchiladas, homemade Hummus, Chili, Indian Aloo Gobi, Middle Eastern dishes and other foods cumin is a wonderful flavor profile to use.
Seeds are very fragrant, especially after grinding.
I thought they came as powder never saw seeds. I have since learned the the difference.
The seeds work fine but do not dissolve LLP
I've re-ordered several times and the quality and freshness is excellent. Makes a real difference in a dish.
