Garden Dill Dip Mix

Rated 4.8 out of 5
Based on 21 reviews

It was long believed that dill works as a charm against evil. That makes this dill dip mix perfect for your scary movie night. Mix a few hours ahead with sour cream, yogurt, and/or cream cheese and enjoy with crackers or crudité. It is also a great sprinkle on pan-fried or baked fish.

Details

This blend is also great mixed with plain yogurt and freshly chopped garlic to use as a dressing on cucumber salad. Don't let the name of this mix deter you from trying it on other recipes because it is amazing on potatoes, salmon, and sprinkled on salad. This blend was previously called 'Dill Dip Mix.' Blend 3-4 teaspoons of our Garden Dill Mix with a cup of plain yogurt or sour cream for a quick and simple dip. Ingredients: Dill weed, kosher salt, onion, celery, cane sugar, pepper, arrowroot, garlic, shallots.

Very versatile

I use nonfat Greek yogurt instead of sour cream and use it for veggies or chips. Add some cumin and jalapeño and it’s good with tortilla crusted fish. You could add some capers and make it into a tartar sauce. The dill and lemon zest adds a very fresh taste.
