Dried minced onions are one of the best shortcuts you can use to save time in the kitchen. Add these finely minced pieces to dishes with low liquid or short cooking times, including meatloaf, gravy, dips, and savory breads or muffins. To rehydrate, simply soak in warm water for about 15 minutes, then drain. Once they’re rehydrated, they’re a flavorful substitute for fresh onions. Having these minced onions on hand is something every kitchen should have. They add flavor to all dishes and does not have an “artificial “ taste.
I like this product except it takes A LOT to make the equivalent of one onion.
This is way better than any dried onion I’ve bought in any store.
It’s exactly what I wanted in a dried product to add flavor and texture.
