Details

Ground Ginger carries within it the very essence of the ginger root—a bright, peppery zing complemented by undertones of lemony freshness. This finely-milled powder makes for an invaluable addition to a plethora of dishes, spanning from the spicy curries of Asia to the heartwarming gingerbread cookies of the West. Its ability to infuse warmth makes it perfect for cold-weather drinks, while its distinctive flavor elevates baked goods, sauces, and marinades. But beyond the kitchen, its famed medicinal properties, particularly aiding digestion and combating nausea, have solidified its place in traditional remedies across cultures.

Our commitment to quality is unwavering. We source our ginger from regions in China renowned for their pristine ginger cultivation practices. Once harvested, the ginger undergoes a meticulous grinding process to ensure a fine texture while preserving its aromatic oils and potent flavor.

  • Finely Milled: Offers a smooth and consistent texture, ensuring even distribution in recipes.

Ground Ginger is not just a spice—it's a piece of history, a dash of warmth, and a sprinkle of culinary magic. Whether you're crafting a savory masterpiece, baking a dessert, or brewing a healing potion, let this spice add its golden touch, enriching your creations with depth and tradition.

Fresh, Small Batch Ground Ginger

Fresh ginger wouldn’t last the long trips it was taken on 5,000 years ago when spice caravans left India for the Middle East, so it was dried after picking. Arab and Persian groups used ginger primarily as a spice or brewed in tea. Most of the ginger imported to the US is from Cochin, India, but is inferior in quality to the top-grade Chinese ginger, known as China Number One. It has a bright, lemony aroma when freshly grated, adding a warming heat to stir fries, curries, and baked goods. We grind our powdered ginger in small batches, as evidenced by its fresh aroma.

Ingredients: Ginger. Contains sulfites.

Ginger Snaps are a favorite of the family. They were made one time without a certain brand of molasses and with regular Super Market ginger. They were not earen. Onve this gonger is in your spice cabinet, no other will be satisfactory.

Ground ginger

I try to have fresh ginger root on hand, but for one reason or another, I need dried ginger. This has THE best taste of any I have ever tried. You’d nevr know it was not fresh, except for no chunks or slices in my dinner. Good stuff!
