The liquid used to rehydrate these Porcini whole mushrooms has the strongest mushroom essence; a dark, rich, woodsy flavor that makes a fantastic base when making your own soups, stocks, and sauces. The extra AA rehydrated mushrooms can be chopped and made into French mushroom paste or used in any dish calling for chopped mushrooms.We also carry powdered porcini mushrooms (Boletus edulis) and Porcini Sea Salt. Any of these porcini products are excellent for sauces, risotto, or soups. These dried whole mushrooms though are especially good when adding to a sauce to use on your steak.

These mushrooms are a great addition to soups and stews. Just soak them in water for about 10 minutes and add them to your food. I even strain the soaking liquid into the soup to add even more flavor.

The first thing that comes to mind is WOW! I made a mushroom sauce and both me and my husband loved it! I needed to test them out because Im making a prime rib roast with mushroom risotto for a family new years eve dinner. Im glad I purchased 6 bags. Im doing a “class” on making Mushroom Risotto while preparing that dinner and i plan on handing out a bag for my guests to take home so they can make their own Risotto. Ill be ordering more for sure.
