Our Spanish Smoked Sweet Paprika is also known as Pimenton de la Vera Dulce. It’s a popular ingredient in many Mediterranean recipes, and essential for authentic Spanish cooking. The peppers are dried slowly over an oak burning fire for several weeks for a sweet, rich, smoky flavor. This smoked paprika is excellent on grilled veggies, seafood, crispy potatoes, spinach and chickpea stew or bean dishes. For a fun summer treat, mix smoked paprika, salt, and a little vanilla into butter and spread on corn on the cob before grilling. Ingredients: Paprika.

Adds flavor to everything

I use this paprika in almost everything. It's enhances the flavors of pretty much any savory dish - steak, chicken, veggies, eggs, stews.....it's really something special.

Perfect for vegetarian/vegan cooking

I cook vegetarian meals and this smoked paprika gives dishes that extra flavor boost that would otherwise come from bacon or meat fat. Great in chili, tomato based curries and on your deviled eggs.

New favorite spice

I have been ordering from Spice House and gradually replacing my spices for about 2 years now. Paprika is one I only got to recently because while it was used here and there in recipes, but it was never one I had an affinity for. This paprika has changed that.

The first time you smell it you will know, it is special. I find myself constantly looking for excuses to use it. It adds both a great color and scent when dusted on top of almost anything - eggs, meat, tofu - and the flavor is bold, but meshes well with other spices. I use it when making flavored rice especially. I highly suggest checking this paprika out in particular - it has changed my cooking for the better.

My kid puts it on everything

He has to be the pickiest eater in the entire world. But he loves the smoked paprika. He puts it on eggs. He puts it on pork chops. He put it on cheddar cheese the other day. And he’s not wrong. I love it too.
