How about giving us the option to purchase a jar label. I often order flatpacks to refill jars I purchased from you previously. I’d really like to update some of these old labels.
I find advantages to each storage method (pack and jar). I am curious whether the flat packs, owing to the lining, can be recycled? Where I live, we can place anything from #1 to #7 out for recycle. Thanks!
I, on the other hand would like just the opposite – some empty flatpacks to fill with jar ingredients that I use a lot to keep organized and handy and jars in the pantry. And they would be the perfect size for my own custom blends!
Love love love flatpacks. They do especially well in the freezer where I store my spicy blends. I have found the seals to be effective, but there is some loss thst is stuck in the “zipper” if one tries to pour out the last bit rather than snip off the corner to use as a funnel. For refilling jars, that is my preferred method of transferring.
I agree with other comments that a peel off label on the flat pack to place on your jar would be perfect. I’ve wished this many times. I prefer to use the jars when cooking. But I order flat packs to refill the jars. Some of my jar labels are getting worn looking but I don’t want to throw away the jars. It would be great to replace the label when I refill the jar.
These seem like great space savers but would question whether the seals are as strong as a jar lid. I’ve had spices in pouches before and the seals are not as solid thus spills. Your thoughts?
I’m on social security so I have found that the flat packs are PERFECT to fit into my budget. My teeny cottage’s cabinets can’t hold spices in jars but the flat packs fit perfectly.
I would love to see peel-off labels on the flat packs for easy transfer to a jar. But it’s not really too difficult to cut them off the pack and tape to a jar. I think it’s easier to use jars than opening and resealing flatpacks while cooking.
I would love it if I could easily peel the ingredient label off the flatpack and use it on my jars.
I purchase the flatpacks and they are free shipping. I’m NOT so fussy about a labeled jar. I can make my own label to be sure of the content. Who doesn’t have plastic or glass jars?? The flatpacks seal up perfectly., btw.
