Mexican style chorizo is a fresh version of Iberian sausage. Make your own by combining 2 tablespoons of Mexican Chorizo seasoning and 2 tablespoons of red wine vinegar per pound of ground pork or ground tofu and mix well. Rest in the fridge overnight, then braise it for tacos or brown it with diced potatoes for a spicy hash. Upgrade your tacos in other ways with our taco seasoning or chili powder.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE

This has been so AWESOME to have to create a quick Chorizo! The flavor is so good! We have been using this at least once a week with our fresh pork from our pigs.

Homemade Chorizo

I made homemade Chorizo and used it in a Mexican Casserole and that tasted so good i made burgers and we cooked them on the grill. Oh my, the flavor of this seasoning mixed into ground pork is amazing.

Good but, too much salt

I do like and use this blend but, only half of the recommended amount. The other half I make up from Aleppo Pepper, Guajillo and Ancho Chile with a bit of red wine vinegar. All in all, it's a decent base but, truly has way too much salt even for a salt fiend.

Not just for sausage

I recently bought a jar of the chorizo sausage blend because I like chorizo burritos, but actually started to use it as a rub when I smoke pork loins to use as sandwich meat. it gives the pork loin a nice kick. it is an all around good tasting spice for pork.
