The southern Mexican state of Oaxaca is known for its diverse and excellent cuisine, based on the vast array of products grown and farmed in its mountainous terrain. This blend lends the flavors of Oaxaca grilled pork chops, tenderloin or baby back ribs. Add to brisket or pulled pork, and it also makes a wicked Southwestern style burger. This rub even works on salmon! Ingredients: Chiles, pepper, brown sugar, spices, cinnamon, garlic, coffee.
This is delicious! My husband and I use it on tacos, it takes it to another level.
Used on pork tenderloin. Great flavor, smoky and coffee. I appreciate being able to control the salt level. Delicious!
For a number of years, I traveled for business one destination had a great restaurant that had a "COW BOY STEAK" on the menu When I asked was told it was a "coffee steak rub" I found Oaxacan Ancho Coffee Rub" and it is even better!
This is one of my favorite salt free products that I bought from The Spice House. It goes great on steak, chicken, and pork.
We added it to a vegan sancocho recipe and it was stellar.
