Sweet Curry

The word curry is Tamil for sauce. In the 17th century, curry powder was introduced to the Western hemisphere when employees of the British East India Company decided to take home the flavors of South Asia. This blend is our most popular for remaining rich in flavor with no heat. Also available in Hot Curry Powder.

Details

In India, they say “there are as many curry powders as cooks,” since each cook mixes their own curry according to their family’s preferences, passed down from generation to generation. For those of us without this tradition, our sweet yellow curry powder is a great place to start. Beyond just Indian cooking, add this yellow curry powder to rice, vegetables, chicken salad, dips, and baked fish or chicken. Ingredients: Turmeric, coriander, cumin, spices, arrowroot.

Perfect

Sometimes I am too lazy to make curry the hard way.
This is so fresh and so good that now I don't have to.

My First Curry

This was the first curry powder I've ever purchased and I love it! My favorite use so far is in a big batch of curried vegetable soup. Toss this spice, a bunch of veggies, some chickpeas, into a good broth with a can of coconut milk and you are good to go for the week. Yum!
