Vietnamese cinnamon has a flavor that is is similar to the Chinese Tung Hing cassia cinnamon, but with an unbelievably high 5-7% oil content, it is much stronger and more spicy. Once you taste it, it’s hard to go back to “ordinary” cinnamon! These cracked pieces are ¼ - ½ inch, great for adding to mulling spices or coffee grounds, or just simmer in water to scent your whole house. Some of our customers enjoy chewing on these little pieces like breath mints.
