Mustard Powder, Mild

Often overshadowed by ketchup in American cuisine, mustard has more history and a greater range of flavor. Its heat level spans the spectrum from mild to wild. In powder form, it can be mixed into salad dressings, added to South Asian curries, or simply reconstituted as a spread. Also available in Brown Mustard Seed, Yellow Mustard Seed, or Ground Medium Mustard.

The Spice House
The Spice House

Around the year 530 B.C., Pythagorus advocated mustard powder as an antidote for scorpion bites. Today ground mustard lends recipes a piquant zing with its uniquely sharp heat shared only with horseradish and wasabi. Mustard powder can be combined with vinegar, salt, and a pinch of sugar to create a condiment of prepared mustard. The ground seeds make an excellent emulsifier for salad dressing and gravies as well. Mustard's spicy nose-clearing kick cuts deliciously through the richness of oily dressing and fatty gravies. Ingredients: Mustard seeds.

Great product

This mustard is perfect for your Asian dipping sauces and a must for Mac n cheese. It has just the right amount of heat and isn't too sweet.
