Italian Salad Dressing Mix

The one thing all 300 varieties of Italian tomatoes have in common is they all come to life with a simple Italian vinaigrette. We recommend a drizzle of olive oil, a splash of wine vinegar, and healthy dash of this Dry Italian Dressing Seasoning Mix.

Details

This seasoning is a customer favorite. For standard Italian vinaigrette style dressing, mix 1 tablespoon seasoning with 2/3 cup olive oil and 1/3 cup red wine vinegar. For a sharper dressing, use half vinegar and half oil. To make a great creamy Italian dressing, mix 2 tablespoons seasoning with 1/2 cup sour cream or plain yogurt and 1/2 cup mayonnaise, then thinning it with a bit of balsamic or red wine vinegar until it reaches your preferred consistency. You can also use this seasoning to make your own croutons or mixed with a breading for chicken parmesan. This blend was previously called 'Italian Salad Dressing Seasoning Base.' Ingredients: Cane sugar, salt, garlic, onion, bell peppers, spices.

So Versatile!

The first night we received our spices we used this on shrimp grilled for atop a Caesar salad, later on toasted bread to accompany a pasta dish, it was just perfect!

Perfection

I recently started the Mediterranean diet and make my own salad dressing. This is the perfect blend for a flavorful vinaigrette.
