Cilantro-Free Pico de Gallo Salsa

For those who cannot stand cilantro, we have the salsa recipe for you. Mexican oregano is used in place of cilantro, satisfying that much needed herbal accent.

Yield: 4 to 5 servings

Ingredients

Preparation Instructions:


  1. Combine ingredients and mix thoroughly.


  2. Crush the Mexican oregano leaves between your fingers as you add them to the mix.


  3. For milder salsa, remove the seeds and veins from your chiles.


  4. Serve with tortilla chips. This makes a great topping for nachos or queso dip too.



Helpful Hints

Let this sit overnight for more developed flavors.
