Vulcan's Fire Salt

This fiery salt is named for Vulcan, the Roman god of fire. Vulcan Fire Salt owes its spicy, deep flavor to a secret ingredient discovered by The Spice House's founder many decades ago. Sprinkle it on popcorn, garlic bread, or scrambled eggs.

Details

Named for the Roman god of fire and alchemy, this blend incorporates both of these traits. If there was an ingredient analogous to the alchemist's stone, in the food world, it would have to be salt, for it is in virtually every savory dish. Salt transforms your results. It draws out flavors that you would not have noticed without it. This salt goes further than that, because of its other ingredients that add a fiery kick to anything you shake it on. It is such an all-purpose blend that we put Vulcan's Fire Salt right next to our salt and pepper on the kitchen table. It is especially good on your morning eggs, putting some heat to your garlic bread, and making an amazing Bloody Mary. Hand mixed from: Salt, Louisiana Chile Mash, Garlic, Habanero Chile, Shallots, Tellicherry Pepper, Lime Peel, Pimenton de La Vera, Picante, Cumin, allspice and Vinegar.
