Garlicky, tomato-herby sandwich sprinkles with just a touch of heat (thank you Gochugaru chiles) make this cozy favorite a delicious stand-out. Ingredients

1 oz cream cheese, at room temperature
4 oz sharp cheddar cheese, grated and divided
1/4 cup drained and diced pimentos or roasted red peppers
1/2 cup mayonnaise, divided
4 tsp Sandwich Hero
8 slices favorite bread
Optional add-ons: thinly sliced tomato and bacon

Preparation Instructions:

In a food processor, pulse cream cheese, 2 ounces cheddar cheese, pimentos, ¼ cup mayo, and 2 teaspoons The Spice House Sandwich Hero until creamy and well combined. Transfer mixture to a small bowl.

Fold in remaining cheddar cheese.

Schmear bread with mayo and flip bread over. Distribute cheese mixture evenly over 4 slices of non-schmeared side of bread. Sprinkle with remaining Sandwich Hero, top with remaining bread, schmeared side up.

Preheat griddle or large skillet over medium heat. When hot, toast sandwiches until golden brown, flip and toast the other side. Serve!
