Bicentennial Game Rub

Ever wonder what food tasted like in Colonial America? In 1976, we did some research and created our Bicentennial Game Rub blend to celebrate the USA's 200th birthday. The coarse grind ensures slow flavor release into hearth-cooked meats like goose, duck, chicken, and pork. Rub a teaspoon per pound onto your roast, and remember to baste.

This remains the classic blend for holiday turkey seasoning. The smell of the spices and roasting turkey is as much a Christmas scent as is the pine Christmas tree. Hunters love this blend too, as the coriander and orange pair will with the gaminess of venison and wild fowl. Rub about 1 tsp per pound into large cuts of meat before roasting. Ingredients: Kosher salt, pepper, sugar, turmeric, orange peel, coriander.

This is a game changer!

I used to vary my Thanksgiving dinners every year. Always had the staples - turkey, stuffing, potatoes, veggies, cranberry sauce, but would change up the recipes I used. That tradition came to a screeching halt when I found this seasoning because I won't use anything else on a turkey now! It gives it a richness and depth of flavor unlike anything else I've ever tried, and I've tried a lot! Try it! I promise you won't be disappointed!
