Hibiscus Lime Soda Recipe

Preparation Instructions

For syrup:
Bring 1c sugar and 2 cups water to a simmer, and simmer for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Stir in hibiscus and lime zest, taking care to avoid the bitter lime pith. Allow to cool completely, then strain through a fine mesh sieve. Refrigerate.

For soda:
Mix 1 part syrup, 2 parts soda water with fresh squeezed lime juice to taste. Serve chilled.

Made this recipe with the Hibiscus I had left from making another drink.Hardest part is getting the Zest(skin) of the lime without the pith(white part of the lime)Both the Lime & Hibiscus compliment each other in this Tasty beverage which will be the Hit of your Summer party.Thank You to who ever submitted this recipe.
