For half a century, Vietnamese cinnamon was extremely hard to find in the United States. We grind Vietnamese Cinnamon bark in house. It produces a dark, rich cinnamon with quite a bit of spiciness. This cracked version is best for steeping mulled cider or wine. Ingredients: Cassia cinnamon.

Great solution for adding to brewing coffee without a film on top.
We’ve been adding Saigon cracked cinnamon pieces to our coffee every morning for years. It only takes a small amount added to the grounds in the filter basket to really enhance a cup of coffee with the wonderful aroma of the spice as well as the flavor of cinnamon.
We tried other brands but the cracked cinnamon from The Spice House is the absolute best. We’ll never use any other brand.
I use it every morning, just a bit, sprinkled in the bottom of my coffee filter. That hint of fresh cinnamon makes every good cup of coffee better.
When it arrived, I realized I hadn’t really meant to order cracked cinnamon instead of ground. But it occurred to me to use my pepper grinder which produced a good, useful result.
I use it to make chai from scratch. It adds a delicious taste to the chai.
