Apricot and Chili Roasted Pork
New Mexico takes great pride in their chiles. The state motto is, "red or green?" Enjoy the delicious flavor of New Mexican red chiles in a convenient powdered form. If you're making a salsa or soup, this is a much simpler way to add chiles to your recipes without rehydrating and pureeing the whole pepper. New Mexican chiles have a versatile flavor and heat level comparable to cayenne. Their heat ranges from 700 to 4,000 Scoville heat units. You may find this chile as a more complex alternative to cayenne in your recipes. Ingredients: New Mexican chiles.
Just the right amount of heat to perk up so many dishes
Made a Beef curry with this. Amazing flavor. High quality.
I come from New Mexico, and the chili powder that originates in Hatch is the best there is for Mexican food. Thank you for adding this wonderful spice.
This is the first time I purchased this product and I am pleased with the spice. Currently, I have been using it in Hispanic dishes (Mexican and Spanish), Tex-Mex, and Southwestern dishes. I am also experimenting with using this to add some heat and character to other dishes.
I love using New Mexico Red Chile in spice blends. It adds great complexity and depth of flavor to dishes.
