Italian Sausage Seasoning

Simply mix these Italian seasonings with the ground meat of your choice for intensely flavored homemade sausage.


For standard sausage, mix 3-4 teaspoons of seasoning per pound of meat. If you like your Italian sausage hot, add crushed red chile peppers at the rate of ½ to 1 tsp. per pound of meat, or add fresh minced garlic or basil for customize your sausage. These Italian spices are great for pizza sausage, spaghetti sauce, sausage and peppers, or grilled sausage patties topped with mozzarella and giardiniera.
