Jamaican Jerk Pulled Pork
To make an authentic Jerk marinade: Mix 5 tablespoons spice, 2 tablespoons oil, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 4 tablespoons vinegar, 4 tablespoons orange juice, 2 tablespoons lime juice. Exact measures not required. This marinade always turns out! Add the chicken and this thick sauce to a zip lock bag and marinate 1- 8 hours.
Our Jamaican Jerk Seasoning is a best seller during the summer grilling season. The best testimonial we’ve received for this blend came from a native Jamaican attending school in the US, who told us it was so authentic it made him homesick! For real jerk flavor, it’s worth the extra time it takes to make a marinade, but if you're not into marinades the flavor is still great sprinkled over ribs, chicken and grilled shrimp. ingredients: Onion, garlic, kosher salt, cane sugar, allspice, chiles, pepper, thyme, nutmeg, cinnamon, sage.
Amazing jerk blend! Literally I have made jerk tofu as well as sprinkled it in to elevate and enhance seasonings and so many other dishes. I also used it to make a vegan jerk mayo that I used on a sandwich and that was really amazing. I sprinkled a little bit on top of my hummus that I dipped my veggies in and that was really good. I’ve used it in some non-traditional ways and it is just so delicious and elevates everything I’ve combined it with.
We got a jamaican jerk chicken recipe from the chef at a sandals in jamaica. He recommended that we only use fresh spices, but that is near impossible to do. The spice house blend is exactly the ticket to a great dinner of Jamaican Jerk Chicken
Oh my, this spice is one of the best!! We use it on just about everything. Chicken, fish, hamburgers even in meatloaf. I have made Tofu bites with this spice then cook it in my Air Fryer. Comes out perfect. Delicious 👍👍
Makes a nice marinade even for a few hours. Chicken wings, thighs and legs. I have rubbed it onto pork chops as well.
My family loves this blend!
